Recommended Prior LearningIn this course students are introduced to the French language and culture. They learn to understand and give basic information in French on everyday topics. They will learn to greet others, introduce themselves, say their age, nationality, and languages spoken as well as share information about family, pets, and where they live. The course concentrates on speaking, reading, listening skills, and development of basic writing skills. Songs and games are also used to increase understanding and fluency.
