In their study of Chemistry, students will use their developing scientific knowledge, skills and attitudes to understand important concepts in Chemistry. They will carry out a range of practical investigations to reinforce these concepts and patterns and relate these to the world they live in.
Recommended Prior Learning
4 credits from an external or internal Chemistry based standard (Science 1.8 or Chemistry 1.1). In some circumstances entry may be granted at the discretion of the HOD.
Total Credits Available: 20 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 13 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 7 credits.
