Recommended Prior LearningPrintmaking is a specialist Visual Arts subject which allows students to develop an understanding of advanced processes and practices. Students will extend and develop their visual ideas through a range of tasks including drawing and imagery gathering, artist model research, experimental process and working studies and refined final prints.
Students will demonstrate the ability to explore, develop, and resolve ideas using print processes and compositional conventions.
For entry: An achieved or better in any Level 2 Visual Arts course is recommended, or by approval from HOD.
There is a required art pack that can be purchased through Gordon Harris. In addition, there is a $15 folio board fee and $15 courier fee for students externally assessed portfolio. This will be added to each student account at the start of the school year.
Information about art packs will be posted on the school website and emailed to all enrolled students at the end of Term 4.
