Course Description

The Year 13 course will cover complex social issues. They will be expected to explain and discuss many of their own ideas and opinions on a variety of authentic materials and write expressively for a range of purposes. The following content is subject to change dependant on NCEA specifications.

• Te Reo Rangatira–Native language
• Te Ao Tōrangapū – Political issues
• Ngā Mahi-a-ngā-Tīpuna– Perfoming arts

The four essential language skills; listening, speaking, reading comprehension and writing will be assessed against NCEA guidelines.

The standards offered in this course may be altered at the discretion of the Head of Department.
