Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss T. Boyd
Students will build on prior knowledge of key Health concepts. Topics covered in the course include investigating a 'resilient role model', and exploring what influences gender and sexuality along with developing strategies to address these influences. Our externally assessed standards focus on various adolescent issues and interpersonal issues.
The standards offered in this course may be altered at the discretion of the Head of Department.
Recommended Prior Learning
11 Level 1 Health credits, or if new to Health, a review of English credits could be used for entry excluding Achievement Standard 90857 (Construct and deliver an oral text).
