Course Description

The standards offered in this course may be altered at the discretion of the Head of Department.
This course has a combination of both practical and theoretical concepts. Ability to participate in practical sessions is essential. The performance standard topics in the past have been Volleyball, Aquathlon and Softball ( This is up to the teacher in charge based on student interest ) Other learning areas include skill learning, training for an event, biophysical skills, leadership and social responsibility. Camp is highly recommended but not compulsory, students can spend a week at the Sir Edmund Hilary Outdoor Pursuits Centre. This Camp costs approximately $810.00 . Student scholarships and funding can be applied for by individual students closer to this camp to help pay.

13 credits in Level 1 PE or at the discretion of the Head of Department.
