Course Description

This course introduces the students to the key concepts of Health, building on the content covered in the junior curriculum. We are continuing to develop and evolve our programme based around essential life skills within the NZ Curriculum that students need to understand and gain. Topics covered include: mental health and resilience, decision making and taking action, food & nutrition, and sexuality & relationships.
It is expected you will do one internal and one external per course with a total of 10 Credits.
The standards offered in this course may be altered at the discretion of the Head of Department.
